Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the Parks and Urban Environment group within the Nature and Urban Environment unit. The unit has broad expertise in green and blue issues. Here, stormwater engineers, ecologists, landscape architects, and landscape engineers work together to develop an experience-rich, health-promoting, attractive, climate-smart, and robust municipality under the guidance of Nacka's city gardener. We strive to create natural paths, characteristic, meaningful, and functional places. We work based on nature, focus on the residents of Nacka, and preserve, develop, and strengthen ecosystem services. We value a positive spirit, collaboration, knowledge exchange, and a strong commitment to sustainable community development.

The role requires both design ability and project management skills, and you will play a key role in developing well-designed and functional outdoor environments. You will lead and participate in projects at various stages – from early sketches to completion – and coordinate work between internal and external stakeholders and various technical areas. You will work systematically to ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals for budget, time, and quality, and manage trade-offs and compromises in a constructive and creative manner. The tasks are varied and may also include working with various types of early investigations, programs, plans, and green structure planning, as well as leading or participating in various types of dialogue projects with the public.

You will also be proactive in developing landscape architecture in Nacka municipality by contributing to knowledge development and leading internal development work related to the unit's mission. You are flexible and can assist in various stages and projects depending on the needs of your technical area.

Is this you?

You are a qualified landscape architect with experience in leading projects or assignments with interdisciplinary teams towards set goals for budget, time, and quality. In addition to landscape architects and landscape engineers, this may involve technical areas such as traffic, stormwater, and construction. You have had budget responsibility in larger projects with multiple technical areas involved. You are knowledgeable about industry regulations and standards for design and construction, such as AMA, AB, and ABT. Project management training, experience in the public sector, and experience working with 3-30-300, GYF, and ecological compensation are advantageous.

Personal Qualities

You are responsible, driven, and collaborative, and can express yourself well in speech and writing. You are stimulated by challenges and can contribute to solutions in a creative and constructive manner. You are curious and development-oriented.
